I put my hand on your shoulders and mentally connect with your body, I send calm and peace to it. I start working on the shoulders and neck , touching pressure points, working along the muscles, working against the muscles. At first the muscles resist but slowly they start to give way and to relax. I know the kinds of movements well but no massage is like each other, I combine them, I increase the speed, I go slower, I make sure the pressure firmer then softer then firmer again. My fingers become motion detectors, I feel every single tightness in the muscle, I feel it letting go, I can hear it talking to me. I mentally send good wishes and calming thoughts to the body, I can feel the resistance and then finally I can feel it letting go.
Working on the head, the face, the ears … every minute pore expanding, contracting, releasing tension, taking in positivity, feeling good about itself.
Time to relax, time to look after yourself, time only for you with no outside influences, just you and your body relaxing.
