The gift of listening

The best gift I have ever been given is being listened to. On the surface lsitening is an easy thing to do, we just use our ears and hear the words. However proper, the kind of listening that makes us feel better, makes us feel acknowledged as a human being with all our strenghts and weaknesses, that kind requires much more skill. It requires making emotional and mental space for another person in our being, not just listening to their words but taking in everything about them (their feelings, thoughts, moods, confusion, loneliness, sadness, anger), putting ourselves second, focusing on their needs instead of ours for a little while while and showing love and respect. What most of us need sometimes is just to be acknowledged, to be made feel that we matter, that people care, that the confusion or anger we might be feeling is valid, that our reasons are valid and to be given a space in which to let off steam so we can then move on and make the best decision on how to do that. Sometimes we need to ask to be listened to, it is a legitimate request of our friends. Sometimes we need to listen better to our friends and try to understand their world. Reiki Healing and massage can help us relax, get in touch with ourselves, process our emotions so we can listen better. Book a treatment today and listen to yourself.

About Malena 113

I am a light worker. I was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain in the early seventies and first came to England in my late teens. From then on I visited a few times, came to do some sightseeing, studied and finally settled down to work. Reiki found me in the early 2000 as a continuation of my spiritual development. I achieved Masters in Reiki in 2010 and have trained other people since. I am currently studying Theta Healing, another modality of healing. I also work with angels and archangels and they are now part of my everyday life.
