Last week children watch Journey to the Centre of the Earth in school. It was part of their science lesson. I mentioned that I had an old copy at home so my son and I watched it together. The team that went travelling had some problems and a misterious man appeared to help them out. He stayed with them and assisted them in many occasions. The professor and his niece were very curious about this man who seemed to come from a different reality. His way of thinking and acting was very different to theirs and they struggled adjusting to it, nevertheless they accepted his company and his help. It was a nice film that made me think about facing fears and accepting change, allowing other people to help us, trusting other people and generally being corageous enough to explore new territory internally and externally and enjoy the richness of life.
