Some moments taste like chocolate, some like strawberries and cream, others feel like the dew on the grass in the morning or like the sunset at night. Each moment is unique and precious, each moment has a feel, a taste, a texture. This particular moment in time tastes like freshly baked bread, it feels like sitting by a waterfall and feeling the water on my feet, it has a soft comforting texture like an old jumper that I wear when I am at home.
We are often so busy in our everyday lives that we forget to enjoy each moment. We forget that each moment gone is one we will never get back. Children grow up and live the nest, we change jobs, people move away, pets die and all sorts of nice and magical things happen every day too: a conversation with a stranger in the street, a nice sunset, the pleasure of being able to buy the food we like. Let’s make each moment count. What does this moment taste like for you?
