It is important not to bite more than we can chew so we don’t let people down and let ourselves down. It is also important to get personal satisfaction from the daily activities that we engage in, we need to have a balance between obligations and leisure and try and get pleasure from obligations when we can. Recently I did a graph of my week noting down my energy levels and satisfaction with the activities I undertake on a daily basis. This was a very useful process that allowed me to modify some activities. Also, like a good friend of mine said, when you leave you allow another person to grow and do the role that you were doing. Are you bitting more than you can chew?
