Releasing the outcome

We have become so accostumed to setting targets for ourselves at work, at the gym, decided we wanted to be married and have children by a certain age, achieve certain salary that often we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves and forget to enjoy the process. I enjoy setting targets, it gives me an aim, something to work towards, a sense of direction and control in what can be perceived as a very changing landscape. However I am also weary of attaching too much to the outcome of my actions. Sometimes things do not work out as expected and this can be more disapointing if I have emotionally attached to the outcome. If I think of my life as a ship that sets sails to Ithaca but realise that it is what I learn on the journey rather than the arrival to Ithaca that is truly important, I can enjoy every sunset on the way.

About Malena 113

I am a light worker. I was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain in the early seventies and first came to England in my late teens. From then on I visited a few times, came to do some sightseeing, studied and finally settled down to work. Reiki found me in the early 2000 as a continuation of my spiritual development. I achieved Masters in Reiki in 2010 and have trained other people since. I am currently studying Theta Healing, another modality of healing. I also work with angels and archangels and they are now part of my everyday life.
